Technical Associates

Technical Associates, from the very beginning, has maintained its focus on industrial manufacturing facilities.  During the course of 30 plus years of exposure to hundreds of industrial facilities across multiple industry sectors, it was, and is, a necessity to retain expertise in regards to the design and support of the infrastructure of a manufacturing facility.

The obvious goal of a manufacturing facility is to produce a product and get that product to market as effectively and efficiently as possible through superior process, packaging, and warehouse/logistics solutions.  In order to support those systems, a manufacturing facility and supporting utilities must be in an almost constant operating state.  At TA, we understand that these systems are truly the foundation of the plant and must be designed properly, maintained properly, and there must be a key focus on how our project work may impact the facility’s ability to support new processes and packaging machinery and related equipment installed as a result of that work.

The critical nature of this area and how a project may impact it must be well understood by a true manufacturing engineering organization.  Often, this may be considered outside the scope of normal process or packaging expansion efforts by organizations that are not focused on the total solution which includes the overall plant utility or facility impact.  TA learned long ago that this area is of critical importance and we have maintained the base of expertise that well understands the support systems required to run a plant.

We are prepared to address these areas and because our work impacts these areas in so many cases, we will work with a customer to ensure that the entire project team understands the criticality in addressing these concerns as the requirement to modify, improve, expand, create new, or relocate utility or facility infrastructure may be the difference on the feasibility of a capital project.
