The use of 3D models for skid and facility design allows Technical Associates to ensure that skidded equipment or facility modifications will meet customer expectations, maintain critical dimensions, and be ergonomic for both operations and maintenance personnel. The customer’s input can be incorporated into the design phase because approval drawings based on 3D models provide a much improved representation of the end product to the customer. The end result is a fabrication and/or installation process that proceeds faster and a product that meets specifications and ergonomic, safety, and aesthetic expectations.
